In the midst of an Ecological and Social emergency
The new economy is not entirely new as it has excerpts of old learnings and concepts. Those at the forefront of social and ecological justice work have been urging business and industry for several decades and ringing alarm bells. These include activists, scientists, visionary political leaders, visionary business leaders, and concerned conscious citizens.
However, the emerging manifestation as a global movement towards a new economy that is being called upon is new as an urgent summoning which is a response to the emergency humanity faces.
The crisis that has been pushed beyond boundaries is caused by human design and human behaviour, to a large part executed through traditional business practices. To the same effect, changes will also arise through human design: human behaviour re-design and re -designed business practices as a response mitigate, adapt, evolve and create the necessary changes towards social and ecological equilibrium.
